The first model of this vehicle was produced as a mid-size front-wheel drive car, and now, it is available as a full-size luxury sedan. It is developed in both all-wheel and front-wheel drive forms now.

Why was Ford Taurus X Discontinued?

During 1992 and 1996, the Taurus X was one of the best marketed cars in US, and it was developed on the D3 design platform. Some famous auto critics believe that Ford Taurus X was discontinued because of the inability of the vehicle to compete with the fast growing US auto market.

But, others have an entirely different point of view towards this, and they think that Ford has taken this measure in order to save the model.
